Allergen Policy
Food allergies can cause serious and potentially life-threatening reactions. All cooks are required to disclose which of the following major allergens are present in their dishes: Dairy, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Gluten, Soy, Sesame, and Alpha-Gal (Red Meat).
While cooks are required to list allergens, you must make sure you know what's in the food you are ordering. Cross-contamination may occur in home kitchens. If you have a severe allergy, always contact the cook directly before ordering. I Food U Food cannot guarantee allergen-free food and is not liable for any allergic reactions.
Alpha-Gal Syndrome Notice: Some individuals develop an allergy to red meat (beef, pork, lamb) after being bitten by certain ticks. Cooks must disclose if their dishes contain red meat products. Customers with Alpha-Gal syndrome should exercise extreme caution and communicate directly with the cook.
